Not a government website. AllPermitSearch is an independent directory. We do not issue permits, take payments, or schedule inspections.

Privacy policy

This site is static and has no accounts, no logins and no user profiles. What follows covers everything it does collect, which is very little, and what happens when advertising is enabled.

What we collect

  • Standard server logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp — retained for security and diagnostics.
  • Aggregate page-level analytics, if analytics is enabled. This is not tied to an identifiable person.
  • Anything you choose to put in an email to us.

What we do not collect

  • We never ask for your name, postal address, phone number or payment details.
  • We do not sell or share personal data.
  • The tools on this site run entirely in your browser. Your answers are never transmitted to us and are never stored.

Advertising and cookies

This site may display advertising supplied by Google AdSense. When it does, the following applies, and it applies whether or not you have interacted with an ad.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and to other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland

We operate a consent banner that defaults every advertising and analytics signal to denied, and only updates them if you actively choose to accept. This implements Google's EU user consent policy and Consent Mode. Choosing "essential only" leaves advertising and analytics storage denied; the site continues to work normally.

Children

This site is a reference directory for building permits and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Third-party links

Every jurisdiction page links to government websites operated by others. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we neither control nor monitor. Following a link takes you outside this policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. Since we hold essentially none, such a request is usually answered very quickly. Contact us to make one.

Changes to this policy

If we enable advertising or analytics, this page is updated before that happens rather than afterwards. The date at the foot of every page shows when the site was last revised.
